But here's the kicker: Sarria is more than 120 km away, to the northeast, in the province of Lugo.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, you don't just get there and walk. It picks you up at the airport and drops you off at your accommodation in Sarria.<\/li>\n<li>Ideal if you arrive tired from your flight or short on time.<\/li>\n<li>No waiting, no juggling with schedules.<\/li>\n<li>You can share it with other pilgrims (and start making friends before you walk!).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"opcion_2_bus_publico\"><\/span>Option 2: Public bus<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>It is cheap but also a bit long.<\/li>\n<li>The most popular option is by bus with the Monbus\/Flixbus company, either direct if it suits your timetable or via Lugo, where there are more timetable combinations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"opcion_3_tren_desde_santiago\"><\/span>Option 3: Train from Santiago<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfortable if you organise yourself well.<\/li>\n<li>You need to go first to Santiago train station (15-20 minutes by bus or taxi).<\/li>\n<li>The train takes you to Sarria with a journey time of about 2h 30 min.<\/li>\n<li>However, there are not many direct trains every day, so keep an eye on the timetables!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scoundrel advice:<\/strong> Check train tickets on the Renfe website in advance.
