They are small groups of people who start the Camino the same day as you, with whom you can share moments if you wish, without losing your independence. You will get to know each other on the first day, and you will be able to exchange experiences and make new friends.

But the best thing is that you decide how to do it: at your pace, your waywithout compromises, with the comfort of staying at private rooms for more rest and relaxation.

Frequently asked questions about the French Way

Can I do the Camino alone but in this modality?

Of course! Many of our travellers do it alone, and this option is ideal for those who are looking for peace and quiet and a more restful rest at the end of the day. The supplement for a single room is XX€.

Can I bring my suitcase for transportation?

Of course, you can hire the luggage transfer service for only €25 for a one-off payment and take a rucksack or cabin or medium-sized suitcase, up to 20kgs, and they will transfer it from town to town during your Camino.

Is the price per person, is it possible to request a single room or a room for more people?

The price is per person in a private double room.
If you are travelling alone, you can share a room with another traveller who will be assigned to you to reduce your costs.

Will I know my accommodations in advance?

Of course you can. We will send you an example of accommodation representative of the average standard we offer. Depending on the number of participants in your group, we work with different accommodations, but they will all maintain the same standard of quality.
One week before the start of the trip, you can request a complete list of all confirmed accommodation.

Do I have to walk with more people or can I do it at my own pace?

The Camino de Santiago is experiential, you can do each stage at your own pace and live your own Camino, as it is perfectly signposted and it is impossible to get lost.

SARRIA

It is a villa and also the head of a municipality in the province of Lugo. It is quite large and a key point on the Camino, as this is where your adventure begins.

PORTOMARIN

It is a villa also located in Lugo. It was built in the 1960s because the Belesar reservoir flooded the old town.

PALAS DE REI

It is a municipality (and main locality of this municipality), smaller, also in Lugo.

ARZUA

It is a town and municipality in the province of A Coruña, known for its cheese. Quite relevant on the Camino.

PEDROUZO

This is the popular name for O Pino, in A Coruña. It is a small locality.

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

It is the capital of Galicia and the final destination of the Camino.
